About the SpaceNavigator

I've gotten a lot of questions about the strange little peripheral that I carry around to use with SolidWorks. It's a device by a company called 3DConnexion (I believe they are a subsidiary of Logitech) called the SpaceNavigator . It provides an ingenious way of controlling the view in 3D modeling programs such as SolidWorks using your non-mouse hand, leaving your mousing hand free to make selections and invoke tools. You can get one for less than $60 from a place like Amazon.
