In this tutorial of a simple pencil model, we use the Circular Pattern sketch tool to create a six-sided regular polygon, and sharpen the tip of the pencil with a revolved cut. You can also download the part file here. This tutorial incorrectly states that there's no polygon sketch tool, but the alternative provided should be interesting nonetheless. |

This tutorial continues with the table model and covers two additional topics. First, we shape a table leg in much the same way that a lathe works, by cutting away material with a Revolved Cut feature. Then, we mirror the leg to the three remaining corners of the table using the Mirror feature. You can download the finished table part here. |
